Zane has been visiting us throughout the year, bringing her wonderful energy and musical magic to both classrooms. Every child, from the youngest in the junior room to the oldest in the senior room, had a chance to explore music in a fun and exciting way. With songs, chants, and a wide range of instruments, the children were encouraged to listen, move, sing, and play.
A big highlight for the senior room this year was learning the ukulele. With Zane’s guidance, their skills grew and grew – and during the final session, it was clear to everyone just how much they had learned. From simple strums to full songs, their progress was amazing to see (and hear!).
To finish the programme, we had a fantastic musical performance. The school hall was full of smiling faces and proud hearts as all the children came together to share what they had learned. It was a colourful mix of music and song that brought joy to teachers, families, and friends alike.
Music is a language that brings people together – and this year, thanks to Zane and Music Generation Mayo, we all spoke it loud and clear!
We are so thankful to Zane for her kindness, talent, and fun spirit, and to Music Generation Mayo for giving our children this wonderful opportunity to learn and grow through music.
