The older pupils did a fantastic job guiding and encouraging the younger children — helping them with research, organising ideas, practising clear speaking, and learning how to record a podcast. The 3rd Class pupils rose to the challenge, sharing interesting facts and speaking confidently about whales, dolphins, seals, and other sea mammals they had read about.
There were lots of skills on show throughout the activity, including oral language, listening, teamwork, research, and digital skills. Most importantly, there was plenty of laughter and enjoyment as the children worked together and listened back to their recordings.
It was wonderful to see such positive collaboration across the classes and to watch the children grow in confidence. A brilliant learning experience — and lots of fun too! 🎧✨
