Miss Higgins’ Second Class have been hard at work in our school garden, helping to upgrade and develop our planting areas. Last week, the girls got stuck in and planted potatoes, showing great teamwork and enthusiasm.
With careful digging, planting, and watering, the children learned all about how vegetables grow and what they need to thrive. It was fantastic to see such interest and care taken in looking after our garden.
We are delighted to say that we now have a healthy crop of carrots, potatoes, and garlic growing in our beds — a wonderful achievement for all involved!
