The Senior Room have been trying something new and exciting in English — podcasting! As part of developing their oral language, listening, and presentation skills, the pupils worked together to plan and record their very own short podcasts.
For their first episodes, the children chose a topic they know and love — their favourite superheroes. Each pupil spoke clearly and confidently, explaining who their chosen hero was, what special powers they had, and why they liked them so much. There was great expression, enthusiasm, and plenty of personality in every recording.
The pupils learned how to take turns speaking, listen carefully to others, and speak into the microphone so their voices could be heard clearly. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they recorded, listened back, and improved their work.
