The children in 4th to 6th Class were set a tricky task: to work mainly with yellow, gradually adding small amounts of red to create rich golden and orange-yellow tones. It took great care and patience to achieve smooth transitions between shades, and the results were stunning!
Meanwhile, the children in 1st to 3rd Class got creative with red watercolours, experimenting with how much they could blend and soften the paint to create interesting textures and effects.
This lesson helped everyone to see just how much variety and depth can be created using only one or two colours. The pupils showed fantastic focus, creativity, and control of their brushes.
Our classroom displays are now glowing with these warm, autumn-inspired works of art, proof that with just a little colour and a lot of imagination, you can create something truly beautiful.
