Can you name our book characters?

Well done to all again who made World Book Day 2016 fun, enjoyable and most importantly a learning experience.

As part of the build up to World Book Day 2016, the pupils of Cloonlyon NS had created their own book as part of the "Write A Book" initiative. On WBD2016 the pupils exchange their books with various classes and also read to each other as part of shared reading. This was a success again this year with pupils creating a wide variety of books to suit all kinds of tastes.

Thanks to National Book Tokens and lots of lovely book publishers and booksellers, World Book Day, in partnership with schools all over the country, will be distributing more than 14 million €1.50 World Book Day book tokens to children (that’s almost one for every child/young person under 18 in the UK and Ireland).

Or, if you’d prefer, you can use your book token to get €1.50 off any full price book instead! And if you’d rather get an audio book, that’s fine too!

So that’s €1.50 off any book or audio book, it’s your choice, just as long as it would normally cost at least €3.99 in Ireland.

Then all YOU have to do is take your book home and enjoy it.
