Congratulations to the newly appointed Amber Flag committee. The committee have been busy establishing their goals for the year to help our school promote positive mental health. The committee hope to build on the success of the last number of years. Some of the highlights to date include the ‘I Am’ campaign where all pupils in the school displayed a positive affirmation about themselves, the establishment of an Amber Flag notice board, a poster campaign promoting positive mental health, a mental health awareness themed entry into St. Patrick’s Day parade, partaking in the Mayo Mental Health Association art competition and fund raising through the Peace Package with a donation of E50 to Pieta House.
