Fantastic news from the Food Dudes programme! Pupils have been doing so well bringing fruit and vegetables for lunch every day that some have earned their silver certificate already. Next up is gold!
More pupils have earned their bronze certificate and are now working towards silver.
On Monday June 12th Jennifer from the Food Dudes programme visited the school. She was very impressed with the level of participation in all classrooms and talked to all the pupils about the importance of fruit and vegetables as part of a healthy diet. She also asked us to pass on a big 'Thankyou' to all the parents for making sure that so many pupils have fruit and vegetables in their lunchbox everyday. She told us we can look forward to a special treat next week for making such a great effort to date. She also asked us all to continue bringing fruit and vegetables next year!
