We all had a brilliant day yesterday in Cloonlyon where all the children and staff had a feed of pancakes and fruit.
Thanks to our 6th Class servers who looked after everyone's order and made sure everything was just right.
Huge thank you to our parent's association who provided all the materials for the day.
To mark the end of the 15 day Chinese New year celebrations we completed our papercraft dragons on Friday last. These look super and the children produced some amazing dragons, see some of the example below.

The Mayo Cumann na mBunscol Sports Quiz was held in Carracastle community centre on Wednesday evening the 1st of February. We were delighted to include two teams into this year's competition.
With 100 question we had a team finish in joint third on 80 points, which is a remarkable result, considering some of the teacher would not have scored this high.
Thanks again to all the children for representing Cloonlyon so well on the night and for the parents/guardians for ensuring they got to and from the venue safe and sound.
