Infants and First Class working together to make giant shapes for Maths Week! Can you tell what they are?
Did you know that when drawing a face you should always have the top of the ears in line with the eyes? This is one of the many things that pupils in the middle room learned during art class in recent weeks. Pupils had great fun learning about proportion and shape when drawing faces not to mention having a go at drawing faces themselves. We think you'll agree that the results were excellent!
Its Autumn, the season of the harvest. Fruits and seeds have been collected from a variety of shrubs and broadleaf trees. Last week pupils in pairs planted their seeds in rich compost. They were then placed outside to get used of conditions. The seeds planted included beech, horse chestnut, alder, sycamore, ash, rose hip, haws and elder. Hopefully some if not all of them will make an appearance in Spring.
There were no acorns available. If anyone has any, please send them into the school.
