During the month of November we have been remembering our loved ones that have passed away. Every pupil has a star on the display to represent someone dear to them that has passed away. We are making an extra effort to remember loved ones no longer with us throughout the month of November.

We had great fun on Wednesday afternoon when the Corvinni family circus visited the school and entertained us with juggling, balancing acts, acrobatics, contortionists and of course circus clowns. Everyone agreed it was a brilliant show and some pupils even got involved in providing the entertainment. Pupils in Mr McGuire's room learned all about convection currents in water and demonstrated using cool blue ice cubes!
Will a paper clip float or sink in water? Everyone knows that a paper clip will sink but the middle room pupils managed to get them to float due to a bit of science called Surface Tension. Well done to James, Danny and Michael on being the first group to get their paper clip to float. Try it yourself. All you need is a bowl of water, a paper clip, tissue paper, a pencil and a delicate touch! |
