Festive fun and Christmas cheer has embraced Cloonlyon N.S ahead of our Christmas Nativity Play performance.
Second to Sixth Class attended an Arts Workshop facilitated by Tom Meskell in the National Museum of Country Life. This fantastic workshop allowed the children to design and create a 3D star lantern.
Students were also given an educational and entertaining tour of the museum learning about the history of life in rural Ireland from Victorian times. After the tour and workshop students stopped off at Horkans Garden Center. The students were excited to visit Santa's Reindeer who are enjoying some rest before a busy Christmas guiding Santa's sleigh! |
