On Friday September 15th we had our green and red day in preparation for Sunday's big match. Pupils and staff made a huge effort to cover themselves in green and red (there was even a tiny bit of blue on show!)
Our Mayo flag and green and red bunting are flying proudly outside the school and the pupils were busy during the week decorating walls and windows in the Mayo colours.
We had a fantastic sing song at assembly with everyone singing along to the three newly composed verses of the Sawdoctors classic Green and Red of Mayo penned by our own pupils.
We hope that everyone enjoys the match on Sunday and that we get the right result with a Mayo victory. Best of luck to local hero Tom Parsons and all the Mayo team and we hope to see you back in Mayo on Monday with Sam!
